The Patient Paw is a small writing project about living with dogs. It exists because most dog advice online is either shouted, sold, or written for an idealised dog that nobody actually owns.
Everything here is written to be read once and used the same day. Where a subject is genuinely medical, we say so and point you at your vet rather than guessing in public.
What we are not
We are not veterinarians, and nothing on this site is veterinary advice or a substitute for examining an actual animal. If your dog is unwell, injured or behaving in a way that worries you, speak to your vet.
